Click for Detail	#AM-MRSDS. Mr. Scare D. Snow - Americana This primitive snowman will bring a touch of whimsy to your winter and holiday decor. Mr. Scare D. Snow is a Wandering Whimsies original primitive design made from coffee dyed warm and natural and then generously stained. Each one of these snowmen is unique and no two will be alike due to the staining, handstitching and the snowman's shape (not from a pattern). His face is hand stitched and I've added small black beads for his eyes. His hat is made from stiffened black felt rubbed with cinnamon and tied with jute. He is firmly stuffed with a weighted bottom to keep him standing. Sticks have been added for his arms and his coat is sewn from scraps of homespun or calico. Two rusty bells adorn the front of Mr. Scare D. Snow and a scarf of coffee-dyed cheesecloth has been wrapped around his neck. A sprinkling of mica flakes have been added along the edges of the scarf. (The mica flakes show up very shiny in photos due to the light.) Mr. Scare D. Snowman is approximately 9 inches tall and 2 inches wide. The perfect size for your mantle or shelf. He could nestle in a wreath or even among the branches of your tree.

My country snowman is a Wandering Whimsies original design and is hand-stitched on coffee-dyed muslin and then stained. He's stitched in a very light bluish-white to stand out against the muslin. I also used black, harvest orange, antique brown, burgundy and pine green throughout the picture. I add tiny black glass beads for his eyes. Along the edges of his scarf, I tie the threads to make fringe. The handmade frame is painted black and heavily sanded to allow the wood grain to show through. This picture measures approximately 8 inches x 12 inches. The price of this item includes shipping.

Click for Detail	#CSSNWMAN. "Joy to the World" Snowman A primitive snowman to bring joyous holiday tidings! This primitive style wood snowman is a Wandering Whimsies original design and will look great on the branches of your country-primitive tree, on a wreath or swag, or even tucked among your holiday bowls in an open cupboard. This star shaped snowman is 5 1/2 inches - 6 inches high ( 7 1/2 inches with the wire hanger) and 5 inches wide. He will stand on his own also. He is painted an old-fashioned buttermilk, heavily sanded along all the edges and then lightly stained to give him a time worn appearance. His nose is a separate piece of chunky wood that has been painted a dark orange. The banner is made from a piece of vintage quilt. I've hand-stitched the words "Joy to the World" on some muslin and then stitched this to the quilt piece. The banner is attached to the snowman by pieces of rusty wire and several small rusty jingle bells are added to each end of the banner. A length of rusty wire has been added as a hanger. This hanger can be easily removed by you, if you wish to display him in a standing position. Click for Detail	#FSNOWORNIE. "Frosted" Snowman Ornament ...add a frosted country sparkle to your holiday decor... The frosted snowman ornament is made from warm and natural fabric. His top hat is made from black felt and his eyes and buttons are painted with black paint. I've tied a piece of dark burgundy plaid homespun around his neck for a scarf. Each ornament is generously covered with german glass glitter to add a delightful sparkle when it catches the light. The base of the snowman is an old-fashioned clothespin which is used to hold it on your tree branches, or you can attach it to the edge of a poinsetta pot as a gift, place it on a wreath or attach it to a swag on your mantle, etc... Lastly, the snowman is holding a sign which has been attached to a coffee-dyed bamboo stick. Heaven's Quilt "Snowmen are pieced together with flakes from Heaven's quilt" This wonderful snowman stitchery is one of my original designs and is handstitched on coffee-dyed muslin. The saying has been handstitched in a very dark chocolate brown. The snowmen are stitched in a light icy blue with a dark burnt orange for the nose, black "x" buttons and the arms are done in very dark chocolate brown. I've added tiny black glass beads for the eyes. The quilt piece at the bottom is from a damaged antique quilt section dating from the early to mid 1800's. The quilt strip is cut to resemble hills. The quilt strip may contain tiny loose threads,worn spots and/or very light stains. This adds to the charm and time worn appearance of my snowman stitchery. The Heaven's Quilt stitchery is "made-to-order" and the quilt strip used for your order may vary just a bit from the one shown. This stitchery is approximately 11 inches x 14 inches (27.94cm x 35.56cm) and is framed in a black wood frame that is handcrafted by me. It has been sanded for an old-time aged appearance that compliments the stitchery. A sawtooth hanger has been added for your convenience. The display stands shown in the pictures are sold separately. Sammy Snowflakes is a great country prim snowman made from a pattern designed by Jaime of Country Whims. (The mica flakes and german glass glitter show up very shiny due to the lighting for the photo) This wonderful handmade snowman stands approximately 8 1/2 to 9 inches tall and has a firmly stuffed muslin body which has been weighted so that he will stand. His coat is made from a red wool felt that I've lightly coffee-dyed to provide an aged appearance. There is a dusting of mica flakes along the tops of his arms. Several rusty snowflakes have been used for buttons and lightly coated with german glass glitter to add a touch of sparkle. His scarf is made from a length of coffee-dyed cheesecloth and generously sprinkled with mica flakes. Sammy Snowflakes' face has been painted on and he has a pointy wood nose. A touch of german glass glitter has been added to his head and to the tips of his black gloves. Sammy Snowflakes is wearing a tall black felt hat which is covered with mica flakes. To provide the finishing touch to this adorable snowman, his broom is fashioned from a bamboo stick and a bit of angel hair vine. Each snowman is made from coffee stained muslin with mis-matched button eyes, a hand-stitched dark orange nose and "x"s for the mouth.
