Click for Detail	#BPQB. Bear Paws The Bear Paws quilt pattern is one of the most recognizable and popular from the 1800's. This "quilt block" has been hand stitched on dyed muslin and then lightly stained. Each "square" has been done in a deep chocolate brown, light tan and a darker tan in alternating sections for contrast. It is framed in a black wood frame which has been handcrafted by me. The frame has been sanded giving it an timeworn appearance to match the stitchery. There is also a coffee-dyed handwritten hang tag reading "Bear Paws" which comes with the stitchery. Bear Paws measures approximately 10 x 10 inches (25.40cm x 25.40cm). A sawtooth hanger has been added to the back for your convenience. the wood stand shown in the pictures is available separately. Click for Detail	#OSQB. Ohio Star Quilts using the 8 point star patterns such as the Ohio Star originated in the early 1800's. There are numerous variations to the 8 point star and just as many different names. The Ohio Star "quilt block" is stitched on coffee-dyed muslin and has been lightly stained to give it an aged appearance. The star is done in the dark red with the corner pieces stitched in the antique white to provide contrast. The Ohio Star has been framed in a black wood frame which is handmade by me. The frame is heavily sanded to compliment the old-fashioned look of the stitchery. A sawtooth hanger has been attched to the back of the frame for your convenience. I've added a hand written coffee-dyed hangtag which states the name of the quilt block "Ohio Star". This stitchery is approximately 11 inches x 11 inches (27.94cm x 27.94cm). Click for Detail	#SBQB. Star of Bethlehem Quilt Block The Star of Bethlehem is one of the oldest and most recognizable of all quilt patterns. This Star of Bethlehem quilt block stitchery has been stitched on coffee dyed muslin and then lightly stained. Rows of small diamonds have been hand-stitched to form the "starburst" points of this 8 point star. The rows of small diamond shapes have been hand-stitched in alternating colors of light tan to very dark brown back to light tan. This quilt block has been framed in a handcrafted black wood frame. The frame has been heavily sanded to add to the time worn appearance of the stitchery. A sawtooth hanger has been added to the back of the frame for your convenience. The Star of Bethlehem quilt block measures approximately 14 inches x 14 inches and comes with a hand written coffee dyed tag which reads "Star of Bethlehem". Click for Detail	#WFQB. Wandering Foot The Wandering Foot quilt block pattern was popular during the westward movement of the settlers during the 1800's along the Oregon Trail. This Wandering Foot quilt block has been hand-stitched on coffee-dyed muslin and then lightly stained for an aged time worn appearance. The stitching has been done in three different, but complimenting shades of blue. The center points and the center of the pattern have been done in a very dark blue. The other two points of each edge have been done in a medium shade of the same blue. The outer hand-stitching of the block has been done in a light shade of the blue. Additionally, there is a handwritten coffee-dyed hang tag attached to the back of the frame which reads "Wandering Foot". The Wandering Foot quilt block is framed in a black wood frame, which is handcrafted by me, and then the frame is sanded to give it an aged look.
