Each of these little 6 inch country Christmas trees are handcrafted from different designs of wood moulding. There are 3 "branches" to each tree and the trunk. I mix and match the different moulding designs, so that each tree is different. The trees are painted a country spuce green and then pearlized for a great shimmer. The tree trunk is painted country brown. Each piece is lightly sanded to give it an aged timeworn look. The sections are strung on rusty wire which is looped at the top for a hanger. A bit of dark country red plaid homespun is tied between the sections of the tree and a glass bead has been strung onto the wire as a topper for the tree. There are 3 trees in an order. The glass beads will vary in color. Shipping is included in the price of this item.

Click for Detail	#CSSNWMAN. "Joy to the World" Snowman A primitive snowman to bring joyous holiday tidings! This primitive style wood snowman is a Wandering Whimsies original design and will look great on the branches of your country-primitive tree, on a wreath or swag, or even tucked among your holiday bowls in an open cupboard. This star shaped snowman is 5 1/2 inches - 6 inches high ( 7 1/2 inches with the wire hanger) and 5 inches wide. He will stand on his own also. He is painted an old-fashioned buttermilk, heavily sanded along all the edges and then lightly stained to give him a time worn appearance. His nose is a separate piece of chunky wood that has been painted a dark orange. The banner is made from a piece of vintage quilt. I've hand-stitched the words "Joy to the World" on some muslin and then stitched this to the quilt piece. The banner is attached to the snowman by pieces of rusty wire and several small rusty jingle bells are added to each end of the banner. A length of rusty wire has been added as a hanger. This hanger can be easily removed by you, if you wish to display him in a standing position. His top hat is made from black felt and his eyes and buttons are painted with black paint. I've tied a piece of dark burgundy plaid homespun around his neck for a scarf. Each ornament is generously covered with german glass glitter to add a delightful sparkle when it catches the light. The base of the snowman is an old-fashioned clothespin which is used to hold it on your tree branches, or you can attach it to the edge of a poinsetta pot as a gift, place it on a wreath or attach it to a swag on your mantle, etc... Lastly, the snowman is holding a sign which has been attached to a coffee-dyed bamboo stick. A curled piece of rusty wire has been added as a hanger to each candy cane through a small hole in the top. These snowflakes are handcut from saltdough and a small 1 inch rusty pointed snowflake shape has been added to the middle of the snowflake. Then it is completely air dried. A light coat of antique ivory paint is added around the edges of the rusty snowflake to give highlight, the each snowflake is coffee dipped and dried again. A generous coating of german glass glitter has been added to each snowflake (front and back). Each 3 inch snowflake has a bit of curled rusty wire added through a tiny hole for a hanger.
