This stitchery is my own design and the three hearts have been doubled hand-stitched in burgundy and then in antique white on coffee dyed muslin. Each heart contains one word that has been hand-stitched in black. It has been placed in a handmade frame, which has been painted black and heavily sanded along the edges for a aged appearance. Tiny rusted nails have been added to the corners of the frame for accents. The Love - Honor - Cherish stitchery is approximately 7 x 12 inches. This hand-stitched prayer is one of my original designs and has been done on coffee-dyed muslin and then stained for a very pleasing aged look. The verse has been stitched in a very dark brown and is surrounded by a double set of light country blue stitching. There are three hearts at the bottom of the prayer which are done in a country rose or burgundy. The black wood frame is handcrafted by me and sanded to add to this stitchery's aged appearance. The saying was stitched in black and the small prim heart with vines and tiny x's were done in a gold-tan and country red. Click for Detail	#FFFPIC. Faith - Family - Friends Stacked Boxes ...Faith - Family - Friends... My "Faith - Family - Friends" stitchery has been made from a pattern by Rhonda of Primitive Stitches. This stitchery is done on coffee-dyed muslin and then lightly stained. Each box is hand-stitched in a different shade of brown (from light to dark) with a dark pine green for the side pattern and light antique gold "rivets" on the boxes. The writing on each box is stitched in a very dark brown. I use a dark country red, the light antique gold and a light pine green for the accents (hearts, berries, stripes) on each box. The bow and ties at the top are done in light antique gold with leaves and twigs done in light and dark pine green.
