Greetings and Welcome to Wandering Whimsies!

With perfect timing, the opportunity presented itself allowing me to start my online shop, along with continuing to provide high-quality and unique handmade country primitive home decor items to shops around the U.S and to my customers, as I have throughout the last 20+ years.

Now, Wandering Whimsies online enables me to offer my handmade country farmhouse items to customers world-wide! Each item that is offered in my shop has been made by me with the utmost in quality workmanship and attention to detail that my customers have come to expect. Additionally, every item created has to meet my high standards of workmanship before I will ship it to my customers or place it in my craft booth for sale.

Many people ask about the name of my shop - the "Wandering" comes from all of the traveling and different areas of the country where we have lived during our years in the US Navy. "Whimsies" comes from all the different ideas and mediums that I enjoy working with. I have a passion for sewing, but also for woodworking and painting!

I have been creating things since I was little. I still have a set of embroideried handtowels that my grandmother helped me do one summer :) I thank my Mom, Aunt and Grandmothers for teaching me to sew and for sharing their love of stitching!

I appreciate all the support from my family, friends and from my customers, old and new!

Having the opportunity to give my customers something which will become a cherished keepsake in their family for generations is what Wandering Whimsies is all about!
